Milan, 2nd October 2019 - In MIND (Milano Innovation District) for Consorzio DISTRETTO 33 to present Expo 2020 Dubai and Dubai’s role as world business hub

It has been an honour participating to the 10^th anniversary of Consorzio DISTRETTO 33, for its States-General in the context of MIND (the new Milan district of innovation located in the ex area Expo of Milan).

As the Italian representative of industry and commerce office in the United Arab Emirates, I had the pleasure of talking bout Dubai’s role as world business hub, in the next Expo 2020 in Dubai and about the opportunities for Italian businesses that will have the chance to appear on the UAE and Middle Eastern markets.

I’m honoured to be a strategic partner of DISTRETTO 33 in the Middle Eastern market.

DISTRETTO 33 is a consortium of businesses with the purpose of promotion and development of the Italian SME; operative since 2009.

The Consortium has been implementing body of DISTRETTO33: a project for 2015 and currently a project for DISTRETTO 33 – Northwest's NETWORK, a project of territorial marketing and internationalisation towards Third Countries, and it addresses:

    Public, Private parties and Associations;
    businesses interested by projects of internationalisation;
    businesses interest by services offered by our offices and opportunities of our projects.

in the Northwest of Italy (especially Piedmont and Lombardy).

The experience gained with the involvement in the creation of the Milan EXPO2015 Exhibition Centre allows DISTRETTO 33 to disclose a know-how and a significant knowledge of procedures, in several areas of action:

technical and administrative professional consultations, real estate industry, testing and materials certifications, technological systems and installations, renewable energy, digging and road works, contraction works and prefabrication in general, covering and tensile structures, tree planting and garden maintenance, metal carpentry, interior design and staging, event planning.

Therefore DISTRETTO 33 wishes to be an active and pro-active member in the realisation of “Guidelines of the Strategic Plan of Development and Promotion of AREXPO” and the surrounding area (North-west of Milan)

Furthermore through shared partnerships with local authorities, institutions and business associations, develops projects and initiatives in the Smart City and Energy Efficiency sectors.
